CASTING CALL- Video Game Sports Shoot

Sports Studio is casting male football, basketball, hockey, tennis, golfers and referees, as well as female softball players for an upcoming Non-Union shoot for one day in mid-February in the Los Angeles area.

We are casting All ethnicities. Please make sure to check out the various age and physical requirements for each specific casting call, as they are separated by sports.

Be sure to update your profiles. There will be an audition this Friday, February 3rd, with a potential callback next week.

This is scheduled to shoot February 11th and potentially the 13th in the LA area. If you are available, please submit your profile ASAP. You will be contacted if selected.

Behind the Scenes: On the Set of Call Me Artie

Earlier this month, Sports Studio was on the set of now-Oscar host Billy Crystal’s newest film, “Call Me Artie,” down in Atlanta. For the project, we cast the baseball players and the little leaguers for the job, as well as provided portions of the wardrobe.

And we were lucky enough to snap some pics on set.

Call Me Artie- Umpire Casting Call

Sports Studio is casting an umpire for a scene in the Billy Crystal feature film, CALL ME ARTIE. This works Friday, November 11th, in the Atlanta, GA area.

This particular role is for a fun t-ball scene, so you do not need to have real umpire experience. Just need to understand the wonderful game of t-ball! Males and Females, ages 18 to 60 should submit.

Casting Call: Adidas Basketball Commercial

Can you dunk? Yack? Jam? Slam? Put it down? Throw it down? Rattle the rim?

Well, if you can put a regulation size basketball through the rim, with your hand, on a 10 foot hoop, then we are looking for you.

Sports Studio is teaming up with Adidas, once again, to find male basketball players for a Principal role in a non-union commercial. We are seeking male athletes, 18-28, who can dunk.

Auditions are Thursday, October 27th, in the LA area. This will shoot November 1st and/or 2nd. Submit your profile ASAP! If you have any videos of you dunking, please upload to your profile.

The Sports Studio team is on the ground in Georgia, working on Billy Crystal’s new film “Call me Artie.” And we didn’t show up to set empty-handed either, oh no, we brought our athletes handpicked from the Sports Studio Casting database.

Casting Call: NFL Network Looking for Coaches and a Peyton Manning Look-a-like

Sports Studio and the NFL Network are teaming up again for another football spot on the network. This time we are looking for Coaches (preferably between the ages of 50-60) and a contemporary Peyton Manning look-a-like for a shoot this week (10/13/11).

The shoot will take place in the Los Angeles area with the location to be announced. The job is paid. The shoot will last between 8-10 hours.

Casting Call: Baseball Players for Call Me Artie

Sports Studio is casting baseball players for an upcoming FOX feature film, currently titled, CALL ME ARTIE, starring Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, and Marisa Tomei.

We are currently looking for male baseball players 18-35 in the Atlanta, Georgia, area. We are also looking for male baseball coaches and umpires!

This is tentatively scheduled to shoot near the end of October. Submit your profile and keep checking back for the latest details.
